About me

I've been working as a therapist since 2005, supporting people to understand themselves more deeply and move through life's challenges with greater clarity, compassion, and confidence.

My approach is integrative, with a strong transpersonal influence, drawing on Jungian psychology and psychosynthesis. In practice, this means I work with the whole person - mind, body, emotions, and a deeper sense of self. I believe that each of us has an innate capacity for growth and an inner wisdom that can guide us, even when life feels uncertain or overwhelming.

I hold a Master's degree in Psychotherapy, a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling, and a Diploma in Integrative Supervision. Alongside my private practice, I've been the editor of Private Practice- the BACP journal for counsellors and psychotherapists in private practice - since 2011. I also teach and supervise trainee therapists, work that continues to deepen and enrich my own practice.

I'm a registered member of the UKCP and work in accordance with its Code of Ethics. Ongoing supervision, professional development, and reflective practice are central to how I work, helping me offer therapy that is thoughtful, ethical, and responsive to each individual.

Before becoming a therapist in my mid-thirties, I worked in the performing arts. Looking back, the thread running through both careers is a fascination with what it means to be human - our stories, the roles we inhabit, and our capacity for growth and change.
